Yoga Instructor
Liz Corwin is world traveling yoga teacher, storyteller, poet, and creator of Walkabout Yoga LLC offering International Retreats, online courses, & Teacher Trainings. She is also a 20 year US Navy Officer and former F-18 Navy fighter pilot. She began teaching yoga while on deployment in 2008 aboard the aircraft carrier, sharing her practice and experience with other pilots and friends.
Liz's dynamic and visceral teaching style, online and in-person courses, and storytelling focus on intuitive physical transitions, alchemizing lead into gold through deep inner shadow work, and embracing honest vulnerability to unleash self-acceptance, self-love, and healing. Her own blood, sweat and tears on the mat and through deep personal spiritual and psychological work is deeply laced into all of her offerings.

What does yoga mean to you?
The yoga asana practice is a modality to practice remembering who we truly are using our physiological, somatic, and psychological experience to rediscover and remain connected to that essence.
What is your favorite asana and why?
Half moon pose or handstand. Both feel like the simultaneous experience of freedom and challenge in my body and mind.
