Lauren Dinsmore
Yoga Instrutor
I gave myself the gift of Yoga for a milestone birthday and have never looked back. Yoga has helped me heal from injuries beyond what doctors thought I’d be able to accomplish. Born in Texas, an Air Force brat, I’ve lived all over the US and have been to all but 1 state! My happy place is with my family. My favorite act of love is cooking.

Foundations and Gentle
How would you describe your teaching style?
I teach with compassion for others, focusing on our connection to ourselves through breathing. Noticing how we feel in our bodies on any given day. I believe movement with breath focuses the mind, helping it to quiet so that we can find peace.
What type of student would benefit from your classes?
Any student new to the practice of Yoga will find a home in my class. Anyone wishing to be more in the present moment will be in the right place.
What does yoga mean to you?
Yoga means courage, strength, compassion, and grace to me. These are the gifts I find on my mat and take out into the world.
What is your favorite asana and why?
Sukhasana is my favorite pose of the moment….subject to change as I change. There is so much going on in this easy seat as we come to stillness, finding our connection to the ground. Practicing it gives me the freedom to let both my body and mind find comfort and ease.
