Kyle is a E-RYT500 & Personal Trainer, who has been teaching movement since 2017. He has studied hatha yoga extensively with Jared McCann & Dr. Rose Erin Vaughn. Coming from a fitness background his classes incorporate bits of mobility, strength, and flexibility while honoring yoga's tradition. Prior to teaching yoga Kyle taught hand-balancing and gymnastics style strength training at Center for Balanced Training in San Diego, CA. Students should come to class expecting to be challenged, but with a slower pace that allows for ease and mindfulness of movement.

How would you describe your teaching style?

My classes are taught in a traditional style with a lot of longer holds that allow students to explore the postures. There are bits of mobility and balance sprinkled in, with an opportunity for breath work and meditation to conclude class.

What type of student would benefit from your classes?

My classes are accessible for all levels. Students should come to class expecting to be challenged, but leaving feeling refreshed and grounded.

What does yoga mean to you?

Yoga for me is the process of self realization. That can look many different ways to people, and ultimately it is about checking in and being consistent.

What is your favorite asana and why?

Downward Dog. There is so much to observe in a downward dog and given how often we visit it in a yoga class the familiarity can make checking in very valuable for students!
