Are you passionate to help others heal and work through wounds of the past? Mindful Yoga Therapy, and IAYT approved program, is an empirically informed, clinically tested program comprised of five practices: Pranayama (breathing), Asana (postures connected with breath), Yoga Nidra, Meditation, and Gratitude. Starts September 21, at Studio Bamboo. . Each practice is a tool Veterans can use to cope with Post Traumatic Stress, and together, they form a comprehensive system–a toolbox–that will carry Veterans into a life of strength and resilience. . The 100 Hour Mindful Yoga Therapy program consists of five modules, presented over five weekends. It includes our Beginning Mindful Yoga Therapy Program and our new Resilience Program. The 12-week Resilience Program is the follow-up to the Beginning Mindful Yoga Therapy Program. Both programs include a 12-week protocol that includes Embodyoga® supports and all five “Tools” from the “Tool Box”.

As many of you know, we have been fundraising money for the past year for @rocsolidfoundation. All the donations collected are to host a build for a child with cancer. This weekend, Studio Bamboo will host a room makeover for a child named Brodie but WE NEED YOUR HELP! We are in need of 20 volunteers for each day. If you are interested in helping us with this project, please email erica@studiobambooyoga.com. . Room Makeover Details: * Friday Sign in: 9:00 am -1:30 pm * Saturday Sign in: 8:15 am * Saturday Presentation: 12:30 pm, with lunch to be provided by Roc Solid Foundation immediately following presentation. . Quick facts about joining us for a build: * All tools are provided * No special skills are required * You will be working with power tools * Closed toe shoes required * We do need some muscle power * You will be provided a volunteer T - Shirt and must agree to be included in any photography * You will need to smile for the camera! .
