Hannah Hooper

Yoga Instructor

Hannah has been practicing various styles of yoga since 2003. Starting from self-study, her curiosity quickly grew to exploring the various yoga studios in her hometown of Hamilton, New Zealand. Having lived in Japan for half of her life, she enjoys Japanese food, traveling and meeting and making new friends from all over the world. She moved to the states in 2016, and is a fur-mom to her golden retriever puppy, Alby.

Students of all levels! Whatever level or type of class I teach, I offer modifications and appropriate alignment cues so all students can deepen their practice in a safe manner.

What does yoga mean to Hannah:

The practice of yoga gives me the opportunity to dive deep into the deepest parts of our true nature. Yoga allows us to be more conscious and aware and it helps me cultivate these and many other vital qualities which this discipline so intelligently and eloquently encourages.

Favorite Asana:

I love so many but pigeon and revolved triangle are my favorites right now! Pigeon pose for it's grounding effect and revolved triangle in how it requires absolute focus and engagement.
