I found yoga in college and immediately fell in love with the practice. I'm perpetually exploring my personal practice and am eager to encourage others to do the same. When I'm not on a yoga mat, I love running, cycling and swimming and am hoping to grow a vegetable garden that doesn't get eaten by rabbits!

What classes do you teach at Studio Bamboo?
How would you describe your teaching style?
My classes are inspired by years of dance training, the Ashtanga primary series, and the desire to keep movement fun and safe for all. I love exploring new poses and challenging students to find their edge.
Who would you recommend taking your classes?
Yoga is for everyone, and I am always delighted to have people of all levels and abilities in my classes. Some days the practice may look like stillness and breath, other times it might be sweaty and powerful... There is immense value in exploring and embracing all aspects of the practice.
What does yoga mean to you?
To me, yoga means connection: with body and soul, with humankind, with earth and beyond. It means developing an inner stillness and quietude with which to ride the waves of life with grace.
Your favorite asana and Why?
Sirsasana (headstand) for whenever I need a moment of zen and a new perspective :)
