I love to be active. I love traveling, missions work, rock climbing, hiking, paddle boarding, and strength training. I love to help and motivate others. With the constant on the go mentality, yoga helps me to slow down, shift he external focus inward, and find balance.

What does yoga mean to Kari?
I practiced yoga on and off for years before diving into a regular practice healing from a back injury. Yoga provided a source of healing and recovery that complimented my conditioning and therapy. Yoga has created a balance for my very active lifestyle both on and off the mat.
Experience and Certifications:
Anjaneyasana (low lunge)-I always feel a stable core body lengthening with this pose and lengthening the anterior side of the hips and pelvis provides huge relief in my low back and piriformis. Sirsasana (headstand)-because we don't spend enough time enjoying the benefits and fun of being upside down.
