Britni is a mom, wife, yogini, and day-time philanthropist. Britni has been in the hunger-relief business for almost 11 years, mom for just over two years and wife to her best friend (and adventure partner) for just about 4 years. She moonlights as a yoga teacher and absolutely loves having the opportunity to assist fellow yogis in the practice.
Classes at Bamboo:
Britni's teaching style is restorative yet challenging. I like to encourage my students to listen to their bodies, making their practice their own, while finding their edge.
Students that would enjoy Britni's classes:
Britni certainly recommends that all pregnant mommas looking for relief, while maintaining their strength, take her class.
What does yoga mean to Britni?
To Britni, yoga is an avenue for connecting my mind, body and breath. It's her chosen form of strength training, stretching and moving meditation.
Experience and Certifications:
Yoga Alliance - 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher
Yoga Alliance - 85 hour Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher
Britni's favorite asana is malasana (a.k.a. garland or yogi squat) because it helps broaden the back while finding flexibility in the hips and ankles.
