I love long walks in the woods, stargazing, sunrises, big family dinners. I love
studying the sacred yoga texts and reading poetry. I love writing and dancing. I have three children, through them I learn honesty & compassion and how to live courageously, with a creative spirit!!

Completion of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course with continuation of MBSR grad study groups. 200 hour Certified Teacher Training and 500 hour certified Teacher Training

Mollie has been teaching in the community since Fall 2003 and currently enjoy teaching an introduction to yoga course at Tidewater Community College. She has taught the prenatal program here at Studio Bamboo since the doors open June 2009.

 

Favorite Asana:

Padmasana (lotus), it is a very good stable seat. The stillness with center point concentration and attention used in this meditative pose.
and Ardha Chandrasana (half moon), the expansion of the body in all directions, finding balance while being so open and visible, vulnerable.

  • Pre-natal
  • Got a teeny yogini on the way? Pre-natal class will help  improve circulation, help digestion, and increase overall comfort. Pre-natal class can also help alleviate some of the discomforts of pregnancy.  Along with other moms-to-be, you will find comfort in the ability to freely discuss any issues, concerns, or the amazing new changes your body and baby are experiencing.

    Please Note: Due to the high volume of students, pre-registration is encouraged to reserve your spot in class. In order to best serve all students, if you are not present 5 minutes prior to class start time your pre-registered spot will be forfeited. Need help pre-registering for class?   • Foundations
  • Foundations is an introductory class designed for the new yoga practitioner or those who want to get back to the "basics." This class will focus on the principles of alignment and begin to introduce breathwork. Classes will improve balance, strength, flexibility and promote better body awareness.
